Edwin J. Yoder, 60, of 1000 Violet Rd., Mifflinbug, entered into rest Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born December 15, 1960, in Belleville, a son of Louis and Naomi Yoder of Belleville. On June 30, 1983, in Belleville, he married the former Lavina R. Zook, who survives.

Edwin was a 1978 graduate of Belleville Mennonite School.

He was employed for many years as a salesman in the dairy supplies industry and most recently at Earl's Bicycle Shop, Lewisburg.

Edwin was a member of the Shady Grove Mennonite Church, Mifflinburg.

He enjoyed singing and was involved for many years in the Light of Hope Prison Ministries.

Surviving in addition to his parents and his wife of 37 years, are three sons and daughters-in-law, Jonathan and Emily Yoder of Mifflinburg, James and Elizabeth Yoder of Middleburg, and Jason and Elaine Yoder of Mifflinburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Scott Rose of Hillsboro, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Vernon and Nancy Yoder of Belleville, and John and Twila Yoder of Belleville; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Leora and Mike Yoder of Belleville, Fern Brooks of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, and Twila and Clayton Beachey of Bastrop, Texas; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Phillip Yoder.

A viewing will be conducted from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 11, 2021, at the Shady Grove Mennonite Church, 5327 Buffalo Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted on Monday, at 10 a.m., with Simon Bender, Linnford Bender, and Loren Yoder, officiating ministers.

Interment will be in Shady Grove Mennonite Church Cemetery.
