Victoria Diane Harris
( July 01, 1953 - April 06, 2021 )
Victoria Diane Keinath, known as Vickie, was born on July 1, 1953, to Marvin and Betty Keinath. She lived in Mansfield, Ohio, during her young life, and made her way to Florida, where she and Ronnie Harris were married in 1986. Ronnie was wounded in Vietnam in service to his country, and wheel chair bound, but that did not slow them down. The two of them were a productive and happy team. They lived in Williston for most of their married life, on a farm where they raised Halflinger ponies. Ronnie and Vickie were respected and loved by all who knew them. Ronnie passed away in October of 2000, and Vickie remained on the farm, doing what they loved most -- raising ponies. Vickie was a special woman. Her friends said that if ever they needed a place to go during a crisis, it would be Vickie's. She could make squirrel or possum taste like steak. Vickie was thoughtful, generous, and kind to everyone. She was a Christian, whose faith never wavered. She leaves behind a loving father, Marvin, and step mother Joyce, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews who loved her more than she knew, and many friends who will feel the loss of this special person. Vickie took refuge in the Lord's promise that He will not forsake us in our time of need. Thank you Lord, for giving us Vickie (for too short a time), and now making her healthy and happy beyond measure. We will miss her.
