Sharon married Walter Lindeman of Dodgeville on Feb. 24, 1973. She worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles and Lands' End. Sharon enjoyed camping, playing cards, reading and babysitting for her family and friends. She loved children and her dogs and cat.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter on November 17, 2011, her parents, Charlene Johnston and Kenneth Canon of Mineral Point, her stepfather, Mel Johnston and a son, Jonathan Lindeman and a brother, Ken Canon Jr.
Sharon is survived by her children, Michael (Crystal Siegel) Lindeman of Woodbury, Minn.; Janice Lindeman of Platteville; Joyce Lindeman of Platteville; Paul Lindeman of Cuba City and Esther Lindeman (Michael Bailen) of Pensacola, Florida.; five grandchildren, Jessie, Kyle, Sarah, Megan and Erik; three sisters, Melody (Doug) Faull of Linden, Rebecca (Tim) Mays of Dodgeville and Marie (Jim) Deutsch of Mineral Point, three brothers of Monroe, Bob (Cheryl) Canon of Dubuque, Iowa and Mike (Barb) Canon and Jerry Canon, both of Mineral Point; three sisters-in-law, Shirley Canon of Monroe, Dorothy (John) Husom of Ridgeway and Rosemary (Marty) Lenz of Linden as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
