Roger was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa. He married Gabriele Taylor on November 25, 1966.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents, William and Juanita Taylor; sister, Janice Wehmuler; and two grandsons, John McLearen and Morgan Rees.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Gabriele Taylor, of the home; daughter, Kathy McLearen and husband Mike, of El Reno; ; son, William Taylor and wife Amy, of El Reno; daughter, Vicky Taylor, of Wellston; 16 grandkids, Wade Taylor, Kelsey Taylor, Steven Taylor and fiancΓ©, Torie Ellis, Shelbie McLearen, Makayla McLearen, Paula McLearen, Shaila Taylor, Willie Taylor, Jadzia Taylor, Selena Rees, Juanita Tinsley and husband Sammy, Victoria Taylor, Eugene Taylor, Sky, Justice, and Autumn McLearen; 14 great-grandkids, Addilynn and Briley Hedrick, Garrett, Blayne, Salem, and Zoie Morris, Jacob and Lea McLearen, Aiden Jones, Kayden Evans, KaLee Cee Taylor, Camden Tinsley,Harlee Johnson, Felix Morado; and a great granddaughter and great grandson both due in July.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Roger Taylor will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel (100 N. Barker, El Reno, OK 73036) with burial to follow in the El Reno Cemetery. Come and go viewing will be held at the funeral home, Monday, April 12 from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
