Mrs. Virginia Elizabeth Watts, 75, wife of the late John M. Watts, died Sunday night at 9:45 at her home at Prairie Grove.
Mrs. Watts was born near, Knoxville, Tenn., Oct 23, 1860, but came to Washington county with her parents, John William and Martha Jane McCord when a child, living south of Elkins until her marriage in 1885.
Mrs. Watts is suvived by eight children; Myrtle and Mary Ann Watts of Mscalero, N, M., Mrs. Alta Rozell of Oilton, Okla., Elva Watts, Noah Watts and Homer Watts, all of Prairie Grove Mrs. Edith Parks of West Fork and Mrs. Charlotte Baker of Kansas City. Eleven grandchildren and four great grandchilddren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the home with Rev. W. A. Lindsey, pastor of Methodist church in carge. Burial will be in the McCord cemetery, south of Elkins by the side of her husband, who died Feb 6, 1936
