Macon, Georgia - Jean Hobbs Thomas, 96, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021.

Her life will be Celebrated at a Graveside Service on Thursday, April 8, at 11AM, led by Father Casey Cole, in Riverside Cemetery, Madison Street entrance.
Guests are asked to observe social distancing practices, including wearing a face covering.

Mrs. Thomas was born in Macon, Georgia, to the late Homer Glenn and Bessie Blackshear Hobbs.

She was a graduate of A.L. Miller High School, and began working in dentistry at the age of 18. She worked for several dentists, as a hygienist, and retired from Cassidy Dental Associates.

Jean was a longtime member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church and previously St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lynn M. Thomas, and her four siblings.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Randall "Randy" F. Thomas, of St. Simons Island, GA and Terry Lynn Landrum, of Macon, GA; granddaughter, Bailey Elizabeth Landrum; great-granddaughter, Emily Grace Coleman; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
