Mario came to the United States, to California in 1979. He moved to Michigan in 1981 and lived in the Montague-Whitehall area the past twenty-nine years. He married Frances Galvan on October 29, 1983. He owned and operated Taqueria Diaz in Whitehall.
Mario is survived by his wife, Frances; his children, Elizabeth (Adrian) Aranguré-Martinez, Adrian Aranguré, John Paul Aranguré and Victoria Aranguré; four brothers; nine sisters; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 15, 5-7 pm at Harris Funeral Home in Shelby. The Rosary will be recited Friday at 7 pm. The funeral mass will be held Saturday, December 16, 11 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2380 W. Jackson Road in Weare Township.
