Jeremiah Lee Burgess

Jeremiah Lee Burgess, at the age of 27, was taken all too soon from his family and friends on Oct. 26, 2007.

He was born on May 27, 1980, and resided in Sissonville. His nickname was "Frog", he was a construction worker and attended Sissonville High School. He played football, raced go-carts, and late model stock cars. He loved fishing, frog gigging, four wheelers and motorcycles. He had a smile that would melt anyone's heart.

Jeremiah was preceded in death by his mother, Tamera J. Burgess; and father-in-law, Larry Levdowskie.

He leaves behind his wife, Christina Burgess; and two sons, Jerry A. Burgess and Matthew D. Burgess; along with his father, Timothy Burgess; step-mother Kellie Burgess; sisters, Sarah and Cara Burgess, and Cassie Leach; and brother, John Conrad; his great-grandmother, Irene Hunt DeHerrera; grandparents, Jerry and Beverly Burgess, John Narodowg and Margaret O'Donnell; aunts and uncles, Michael and Patricia Burgess, Roger and Jannell Cochran, Bill and Tina Martin, and Timothy Narodowg; mother-in-law, Tina Levdowskie; sisters-in-law, Stacy and Lori Levdowskie; cousins, Allen and Brooke Burgess, Marisa and Jeffery Cochran, Eric Johnson and Danny Martin.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. James W. "Billy" Holtsclaw officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.

Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
