Florence Marie Banning, 80, of Decatur, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Florence was born February 20, 1932, in Decatur, the daughter of Ellen Hendricks Baldridge. She married Clarence E. Banning June 13, 1959 in Decatur and he preceded her in death July 7, 2007.
Florence was a member of West Side Church Of The Nazarene, worked as a clerk typist at the Decatur Signal Depot, Chanute Air Force Base and Great Lakes Naval Base before retiring in 1973.
Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Also preceding her in death were her mother; brothers: Paul, Heber, Everett, Clarence and Dale; sisters: Ellen, Mary and LaNelle.
Funeral services celebrating her life was 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012, at the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home; visitation began at 9 a.m. Burial was in Harristown Cemetery.
