Mary Eveline Hendrix, 92, passed away on April 7, 2021 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri after an extended illness.

Eveline was born on July 17, 1928, in Kentucky to the late Henry and Mamie Bone.

In 1946 Eveline married the late Alfred Hendrix. They had three children: Bud (Brenda) Hendrix of Manteo, NC, Joie Hendrix of Perryville, MO, and the late LaWanda Jackson.

Eveline had five grandchildren: Greg (Crystal) Jackson of Palm City, FL, Lori Aduddell of Nixa, MO, Mike Jackson of Nixa, MO, DeAnna (Kip) Schaefer of Mill Valley, CA, and Shawna (Todd) Crescenzo of Encinitas, CA.

Eveline also had ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Eveline was preceded in death by five siblings: Shirley Norman, Alice Benton, Herman Bone, Nettie Banks, and Marvin Bone.

A graveside service is planned with interment following in the Dogwood Cemetery on April 9 at 3:30 p.m. Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
