Michael Lynn Petty, 50, of Corinth, TX passed away Friday, April 2, 2021.
He was born September 13, 1970 in Lubbock to Thomas Lowell and Patricia Ashley Petty. He married Keli Kite on August 7, 1999 in Cody, WY.
Lynn was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed sharing his love of the outdoors with his two daughters. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
Lynn also had a passion for music. From the time he was a child Lynn loved music. He enjoyed all genres, but his all time favorite was Metallica. He shared his love of music not only with his brother Aaron, but his daughters Chloe and Cassidy as well.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Keli, and daughters Chloe JoAnn and Cassidy Morgan. He is also survived by another daughter, Meagan Lynn. Also grieving his loss are his parents; one brother, Aaron Layne Petty and wife Bridget; one nephew, Brendan Andrew; one niece, Allison Marie; brother-in-law, Toby Kite and wife Bobbie; one uncle, Richard Petty and wife Edna, aunts, Sharon Ashley Winn and husband Joe, and Rita Ashley Prewett and husband David; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Forrest and Clara Petty, and Leonard Morgan and Beulah Mae Ash Ashley.
A graveside service will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Ralls Cemetery in Ralls, TX with Rev. Adam Harris, pastor of First Baptist Church in Ralls, officiating.
