Gregg W. Johnson, 59, of Campbellsport passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on November 7, 1961 in Michigan, the son of Everette and Paula Johnson. On November 11, 1989, Gregg married Roxanne L. Fossett in Mount Morris, IL. Roxanne preceded him in death on December 31, 2003. Gregg served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a welder most recently for International Concrete Products in Germantown. He was a member of American Legion Post #222 in Campbellsport. Gregg was an avid motorcycle rider spending most summer weekends riding with friends.
Survivors include his daughters Jessica Johnson and Jackie (Jonathan) Gibson, a soon to be born grandchild, mother Paula Taylor, siblings Gower (Taresa) Lucas, Pat (Jay) Johnson and Pamella (Darrell) Hill, numerous other relatives and friends. Gregg considered many friends as family members.
Along with his wife Roxanne, Gregg was preceded in death by his grandmother Lola Taylor and brother Paul Pennington.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport. His cremains will be buried with his wife Roxanne at Union Cemetery in Campbellsport at a later date.
The family extends a special thank you to Denise Behnke, Pam Polakowski and Scott Bunkelman.
