Mr. Jerry Lamar Jenkins, age 77 of Winfield passed away on Monday April 5, 2021 at his residence. Jerry was a member of the Winfield Church of God and a 1961 graduate of Winfield City High School.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Genny Stanford Jenkins, his son, Terence Jenkins (Kris) of Castle Rock, WA and daughters, Marla Jenkins of Huntsville, Niki Jenkins of Winfield, his grandchildren, Alex Jenkins, Micah Jenkins, Eli Jenkins, Anna Kathryn Tyner and Ian Kennedy, a brother, Ronnie Jenkins (Regina) of Winfield, sisters, Patsy Lolley (Kenneth) of Hamilton, Kathy Harris of Winfield, Angie Jones (Fred) of Gu-Win a host of nieces, nephews, church family, and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Hildred Norris Jenkins.

The funeral service for Mr. Jenkins will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from the Winfield Church of God with burial to follow in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win. Brother Deric Rea will be the officiating minister. The visitation will be on Friday, April 9th from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. service time at the church.

Alex Jenkins, Eli Jenkins, Ian Kennedy, Mike Jenkins, Ron Jenkins, Nicholas Lolley, Chad Harris, Freddie Jones, Ethan Watson, Burnice Creech, Packy Butler and David Martin will serve as pallbearers.
