Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Mrs. Amy Lou Weaver, 96, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at NHC Nursing Home in Dunlap, Tennessee. She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on May 28, 1924 to Walter Brewer and Dona Cagle Brewer who preceded her in death along with her husband, William Bedford Weaver; son, Martin Weaver; infant daugter, Annie Lou Weaver; brothers, Grady and Clifford "Buck" Brewer; sisters, Ethel Birdwell, Willette Birdwell, Mary Bessie Bryant, Grace Farris and Leona Creighton.

She attended the Bivens Chapel and Grace Village Churches before her health declined.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Jones; sons, Andy Weaver and Wilson Weaver; sisters. Tressie Cleek and Jewel Curtis; 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Minster Jerry Stockwell officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
