Robert Allen Bundy, 91, of Oregon City, passed away peacefully Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017. Born in Portland Oct. 13, 1925 to Kingsley and Hattie Bundy, he resided in Oregon City for the last 55 years. Robert attended Benson Tech, Texas Tech, Multnomah Junior College, University of Oregon, Portland State, and Oregon State University. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He retired from the Oregon City Public Schools where he worked as a Middle School Guidance Counselor for more than 20 years. He was passionate about education, politics and social equality. In his spare time he enjoyed traveling, camping, nature, woodworking, reading and listening to the radio. He was a lifelong student, always seeking to better understand the world around him. Robert was recently predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Jewel Waller Bundy. He was the loving father of Eugene Bundy, Keith (Shante) Bundy, Jay (Kristen) Bundy, Nancy Bundy (Don) Erdman, Arlene Cummings (Brian) Light, Elizabeth Bundy O'Neill and Deville Bundy. He was stepfather to Jean Lorts, Colleen Briner and Christy Campbell. He was a proud and loving grandfather and great grandfather. Memorial to be announced.
