Brett Thomas Curtis, age 36, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born on August 22, 1984, to Thomas Leonard and Rhonda Lee (Hicks) Curtis in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the Baxter County Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Heather Mitchell Curtis; one son, Blake Matthew Curtis; parents, Thomas Leonard and Rhonda Lee (Hicks) Curtis of Flippin, Arkansas; one brother, Bradley Charles (Brittney) Curtis of Flippin, Arkansas; one sister, Allissa Lynn (Greg) Sims of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Grandmother Patricia J. Curtis of Bull Shoals, Arkansas; Aunt Debbie Chism of Flippin, Arkansas; Uncles Tim (Pat) Curtis of Bull Shoals, Arkansas and Joe (Nancy) Hicks of Flippin, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Maternal step-grandfather Bill Bruning and grandmother Margie Lee Gower-Hicks-Bruning and by grandfathers, Leonard Earl Curtis and Billy Russell Hicks
A visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Flippin. A Funeral service will held at 2:00 p.m. with Aaron Lindsey officiating. Interment will be at Hand Valley Cemetery in Rea Valley.
