Jerrie was born on November 23, 1929 in Trenton, New Jersey to Ada Musson and Lt. Colonel Kenneth B. McCausland. The family (including sister Betty and brother Bill) later settled in Alexandria. She married at age 19, moved to Fredericksburg and raised five children there.
In 1955, Jerrie started her career as an advertising representative for the Free Lance-Star newspaper where she won many top sales and creativity awards. Following her time at the Free Lance-Star, Jerrie worked for WFLS Radio Station before she retired.
Survivors include her three children, Kristine Gosper (Ronnie), Kenneth Deane Rogers (Laurie), and Monroe M. Rogers (Janice); daughter-in-law Jackie Rogers; six grandchildren Will Rogers, Nathan Rogers, Tyler Rogers, Nicole Caler, Whitley Richards and Jack Rogers; three great-grandchilren, Norah, Emmie, and Benjamin Caler. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Lee Rogers; son Williard B. "Bucky" Rogers; and granddaughter Erin Rogers.

Pallbearers are Ronnie Gosper, Will Rogers, Nathan Rogers, Tyler Rogers, Jack Rogers and Matt Caler.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 8 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Old Falmouth Cemetery.
