Larry Murphy Sr. 73, of Monroe, LA., was born on January 26, 1948 in Bastrop, LA., and passed away on April 6, 2021 in Farmerville, LA.
Larry retired from Texas Gas as an equipment operator. He was an avid golfer and hunter and a member of Haile Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oren and Laura Murphy, and a brother, James Bennett (Jimbo) Murphy.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Michelle White (Andy) of Downsville, LA; son, Larry Murphy Jr., companion (Damitra) of Haile, LA; grandchildren, Ryan Massey, Larry (Tripp) Murphy III, Trystan Darling-Murphy, and Carrina Murphy; siblings, Otis Patrick (Pat) Murphy of Swartz, LA; Bobby Gene Murphy of Denver, CO; Icea Lee Murphy Murray of Bastrop, LA and 5 nephews and nieces.
