Roberta was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 9, 1938 to Frank and Emma Harkins.
Roberta was employed at Regency Place and worked as a nurse aide for 20 years until her retirement in 2000. She was well respected at her job and was known for how caring she was toward others. Roberta was a loving mother and a wonderful grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Along with creating memories with her loved ones, she enjoyed taking care of her beloved pets and animals.
Roberta is survived by her three sons, Joseph Burton of New Whiteland, Indiana, Bob Burton of Greenwood, Indiana, and Mike (Krista) Burton of Noblesville, Indiana; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Roberta was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Glenn Burton Sr.; her parents, Frank and Emma; her brother, Bernard; her two sisters, Mary and Phyllis.
A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, March 5, 2021
