Dennis was born on July 12, 1929 in Berlin, Oklahoma to Dennis and Sarah (Laxton) Marshall. Dennis married Patsy Allen on August 11, 1966, in Cordell, Oklahoma.
Dennis worked for El Paso Natural Gas Company for 15 years in Texas and Arizona. In 1973, Dennis and Pat purchased M's Dairy Boy and Car Wash in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma. They later purchased Marshall's Car Wash in Hobart, Oklahoma.
Dennis enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, gardening, playing dominos and playing cards. His greatest joy was his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dennis is survived by daughters: Carol Jones and husband Garlon of Perryton, Texas, Debra Leistner of Choctaw, Oklahoma, LaDonna Allen of Hobart, Oklahoma and Emily Hysmith and husband Justin of Choctaw, Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Mischel Page, Kimberly Goen, Shannon Eddleman, Kelly Williams, Kyle Williams, Kerry Williams and wife Lora, K.P. Leistner and Peri Decoteau, Kasee Bentley and Chris Plew, Ryne Lofton and husband Jerod, Drake Long, Keenan Hysmith and Candle Rogers. Great-Grandchildren: Knox Williams, Jacee Hernandez, Joseph Hernandez Jr., Kylee Plew, Lauren Plew and Molly Plew, Silas Lofton, Spencer Lofton and Piper Lofton. Sister: Elouise Marshall, Elk City, Oklahoma.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, wife Pat, son-in-law, Mark Leistner, brothers, Melvin Marshall, Garlin Marshall, Alvin Marshall, Harold Marshall and Lonnie Marshall and sisters, Freeda Kirk, Jewell Barnes, Rena Dovell, Edith Marshall and Rosa Nell Marshall.
Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home located at 1400 West Main, in Lone Wolf.
