Thomas Odell "T.O." Ramsey, Jr., 90, widower of Naomi May (Gregson) Ramsey formerly of Lea Drive, Fishersville passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at The Retreat at Fishersville.

Mr. Ramsey was born on September 29, 1930 in Fishersville, Virginia, a son of the late Thomas Odell Ramsey, Sr. and Mary Lee (Earehart) Ramsey.

T.O. was an active member of Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church, serving as a Deacon, Elder Emeritus, was a veteran of the United States Marines, and a member of the Fishersville Ruritan Club. He was self-employed / owner of T.O. Ramsey and Son Builders. He enjoyed farming, building, and spending time in the mountains of Marble Valley "Big River".

In addition to his wife of sixty-two years and his parents, Mr. Ramsey was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane (Ramsey) Fisher.

Surviving are two sons, Robert Stuart Ramsey and his wife Robin of Chester and William O. "Bill" Ramsey and his wife Kym of Fishersville; a daughter, Lucy (Ramsey) Marion and her husband Chris of Fishersville; seven grandchildren, Summer Ramsey Powers and husband Jacob, Paige O'Dell Ramsey, Thomas Odell Ramsey, III and his wife Paige, Robert Doran Ramsey, Abigail Gregson Holland, Anna Grace Ramsey, and Emma Ramsey Holland; two step-grandchildren, Cooper Thomas Marion and Simone Arden Marion; a great-grandson, Lane William Powers; a brother, John D. Ramsey and wife Rebecca "Beckie" of Goshen; a sister, Nancy R. West and husband John "Jack" of Richmond; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church by Pastor Merle Fisher and Pastor Patrick Ryan.

Burial will follow the service in the Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Mr. Ramsey's sons, Robert and William and his grandchildren, Thomas Odell Ramsey, III, Robert Doran Ramsey, Abigail Gregson Holland, and Emma Ramsey Holland.

The family will receive friends following the service.
