The beloved husband of Geraldine Schnieder (nee Jones) for 58 years; the cherished father of Michelle Siesener, Kathy Cardwell and Donna (Kevin) Miller; treasured grandpa of Timmy, Tommy, Nicole, Lexi and Kevin; great-grandpa of Gunner; dear brother of the late Ricky Schneider. He was also preceded in death by his parents Charles and Olga Schneider (nee Stanecki).
Don retired from Ford Motor Co after 30 years of working in the Hazelwood plant. He had a passion for keeping an immaculate lawn and beautiful flowers. Don could do anything with his hands, whether is was building a garage or addition onto the house, a plumbing project or fixing and restoring cars. He could do anything.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles 63304.
Memorial donations have been suggested to Missouri Botanical Garden.
