Andy was so proud of the love they shared and the beautiful life they had created. He had dreams and plans for many adventures in his future and was passionate about life.
He was always looking to learn a new skill and was extremely creative and artistic. Andy was a self taught woodworker who made many creations to customize his basement with the history he loved. He was an imaginative person who enjoyed designing, building, and drawing original pieces of art.
Andy was an adventurous man who spent time in the outdoors exploring, kayaking, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He loved Viking lor, reading, history, music from all genres, and rocking out at concerts.
Andy was a vivid storyteller who entertained everyone with his wonderful stories of life. His infectious smile and vibrant personality brought happiness to those around him. He will be remembered as a gentle giant with a wonderful sense of humor whose greatest joy was to make people laugh.
Andy is survived by his wife Linda Hammer and his two children Ashlyn and Aerik of Republic, MO. His mother Becky Meyerpeter and husband David Meyerpeter of Republic, MO. His dad Mark Allison of Humansville, MO. His father and mother-in-law Manfred and Doris Heinke of Giessen, Germany , sister Meredith Allison, nephew Gage Godfrey and nieces Morgan and Sydney Godfrey of Willard, MO. His sister-in-law and her husband Verena and Jo Pudelko of Frankfurt, Germany. His father, Steve Hammer and paternal grandmother Arlene Hammer of Minnesota, and many other family members and friends.
There will be a visitation held from 10-12 on Thursday, April 15, 2021 with a service following at noon at Greenlawn Funeral Home East.
