Paul Michael (Mike) Richardson, age 71, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021, at his residence in China Spring, Texas.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 8, from 5-7 PM at Foss Funeral Home in Valley Mills Texas. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, April 9th, 2021 Grace Baptist Church China Spring, Tx, with Pastor Erick Emblem officiating under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Interment following at China Spring Cemetery.

Mike was born on February 8, 1950, in Houston, Texas to Harold Paul and Lola Mae (Wilson) Richardson.

He is a retired fireman from Houston Fire Dept where he served for 20 years. He also retired from China Spring Independent School district where he served for 23 years. He made many lifelong friends at Houston Fire Department and at the school.

Mike loved to go camping with his family and also loved to hunt and fish. These were his past times after retiring. He and his wife Vivian also liked to ride his motorcycle. He was a first-class carpenter and built their current home and the previous one when they lived in Willis, Texas.

Mike is survived by his spouse of 51 years Vivian Richardson, his son Gregory Richardson, brother John Richardson and spouse Patsy, niece Amber Woodall and spouse Jeremy, great-nieces Layla Oliver and Lynnette Woodall. Also his Uncle Wayne and Aunt Beverly who held a special place in his heart and his cousin David Richardson and his wife Dianne as well as other cousins.

Preceded in death by parents and brother Jeffrey Richardson and Brett R Richardson

Pallbearers will be David Richardson, Mark Kelly, Joe Bob Smith, Thomas Ash, Randy Scott, and Jeremy Woodall.
