Tom is survived by his son Thomas E. Butler III and his wife Michele, his grandson Thomas R. "Tucker" Butler, and his dog Bella. He was preceded in death by his sister Marie Early.
He retired from Acme Markets in 1995 as a Meat Manager after 45 years. He was a member of Visitation BVM Parish and was Past President of the Holy Name Society. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus and Nuss O'Hara Todd VFW Post. He was a proud veteran of the U.S, Navy having served in the Korean War on the USS Daley DD 519 as a Gunner's Mate.
He was a kind and humble man whose greatest joy was his family and his faith. He enjoyed traveling, reading and working in his yard. He always reached out to help others and was never without a smile or a story.
Relatives and friends are invited to Tom's Funeral Mass on Thursday April 8, at 11 AM at Visitation BVM Church. There will be no public viewing. Entombment will be at St. Patrick's Mausoleum.
