Misty Michelle Rogers, 43, of Richmond, died Friday, April 2, 2021, at North Kansas City Hospital.
Misty was born on November 7, 1977, in Lexington, the daughter of Elmer L. and Vickie Jo (Shoemaker) Comstock.
Survivors include: mother, Vickie Jo Crose of Liberty; daughter, Chastity Legate of Richmond; son, Derek Legate of Richmond; brother, Terry Comstock of Papillion, NE; sister, Angela Murray of Chillicothe; and three grandchildren: Madicyn Talbott, Remington Talbott, and Kilik Winfrey.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Misty was reared and educated in Lexington. She had previously worked as a machine operator at Henkle in Richmond. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved to shop.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Misty Michelle Rogers Memorial Fund. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.
Visitation followed by funeral services will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m., with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Lexington Memory Gardens.
