Larry David Bishop, 71, of Franklin, went home to be be with Jesus on Sunday, April 4, 2021 after a period of declining health.
Born in Jackson County, NC, he was the son of the late Quenton and Ruby Wilson Bishop. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by in wife Frances McIntyre Bishop; and a sister, Clydias Guffey.
Larry was a member of Watauga Baptist Church and the Macon County Coon Hunters club. He was a brick & block mason and in his spare time, he loved tending to his livestock.
Larry is survived by his sister, Nancy Young ( Jason ) of Oak Island, NC; one nephew, Sam; and five nieces, Julia, Meg, Marcie, Gina and Selena. Sister in- laws; Wanda Baker (Norman) and Katie Shope (Bobby) of Franklin, NC; and numerous cousins and friends also survive.
