Samuel "Sam" Leon Wilson, 58 a resident of Plainfield for 21 years passed away on Thursday, April 1 2021 after a long battle with Cancer. He was born on January 30, 1963 in Oak Lawn, IL. to Thelda Lute and Clifford Wilson.

Loving husband of Annette Caballero Wilson who he married on June 28, 1986 in Woodridge, IL., and beloved Father of Jennifer Marie Wilson. He also leaves behind brother Johnny Wilson, Sister Doris Miller, Nieces Susie Clinton and Michelle Barnes.

Sam grew up in Romeoville and attended Romeoville High School which he graduated in the class of 1981. After high school he went on to attend classes in automotive repair at Lincoln Tech College. Upon leaving school Sam worked as an auto body repair technician for International Trucking Co. with over 20 years in the industry. Sam was also a member of the UAW Union.

A visitation will be held on Thursday April 8, 2021 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm with a service starting at 7:00pm at Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, corner of Routes 30 & 59, Plainfield IL.
