Ruth Laverne Budak, 89, of Muskegon, Michigan, formerly of Lorain, gained her wings Sunday, March 14, 2021.
She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew Budak; much loved mother of the late Bonita McKissick, William Budak, Daniel Castro, Tawnya Waara (Castro), Andrea Lockhart (Budak); cherished grandmother of Stephanie Budak, Brandy Budak, Amber Castro, Derek Castro, Casey Moreno, Breanna Castro, Brittany Lockhart; great-grandmother of Makayla Mason, Sabrina Mason, Kennedy Nichols, Garnett Smith III, Mende Smith, Kristina Parker, Odessa White, Liam White, Cohen Holt, Payton Lockhart and Letty Lockhart.

A memorial will be held Saturday, May 8th, 2021 at 12 Noon at Elks Lodge, 203 W. 6th St., Lorain, OH 44052.
Her father Craig Berry died in a tragic accident in 1936. Her mother Mary Pearl Robbins would marry Robert Winchel after his death.
