Patricia Ann Jordan ran into Jesus arms on Good Friday, April 2, 2021. She was born September 25, 1941, in Oklahoma City to Mavis Wren. And later moved to Munday, Texas where she was raised and graduated high school. Pat or Ann as some called her was an amazing Mom, Nana, sister, friend, leader, and servant. Pat graduated from McMurry University with her BS in 1971 and continued her education at West Texas State in Canyon and received her Masters in Education in 1973. She loved everything sports and math. She was very competitive and would not let anyone win a game.

She loved serving her home church. Whether that be FBC Stamford where she taught Sunday School, Mission Friends, VBS and helped with the ladies ministry. She also loved Greater Independent Baptist Church in Haskell where she taught Sunday school.

Pat was involved in anything her daughter Angela wanted to do. From church, Girl Scouts, 4-H, FFA, all sports activities and school. She taught many of the youth in Stamford, whether it be substitute teaching or keeping the official books for the Stamford Bulldog Baseball team. She also loved being involved in everything her granddaughter's Faith and Blessing Jordan were involved in.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mavis Wren of Munday, Dad Robert Yeldell of Haskell, and brother Robert Wren of Abilene.

She is survived by her daughter Angela Jordan-Whisenhunt and wife Chelle Whisenhunt-Jordan of Abilene and granddaughters Faith and Blessing Jordan of Abilene. Grandsons Bryson Trussell and family of Stephenville, Zach Trussell and family of White Settlement, and Austin Trussell and family of Haskell. Sisters, Cathy Tamplen, Bonnie Correia, and Carolyn Burkhalter all of Abilene and Birdie Goudeau of Haskell and Edith Williams of Arlington.

Moms favorite saying was Footprints In The Sand, "When they saw only one set of footprints Jesus carried me."

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell.
