Jack F. Bailey, age 85, passed away on April 2, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on January 15, 1936 in Eupora, Mississippi to his parents George S. and Christine Farley Bailey.
Jack grew up in Tomnolen, Mississippi where his family had orchards and grew their own crops. They were a musical family always singing around the piano. They were well respected and known as always helping their neighbors. He had many friends growing up and played the drums in the Eupora High School band.
Jack proudly served his country in the US Army as a medic on the front lines during Vietnam. After 30 years of service Jack retired from the Army as an MSG.
Jack then ventured into the insurance industry and worked for Colonial for 32 years. But Jack would consider his biggest accomplishment as being a grandfather and hero to his 10 grandchildren. He never missed an opportunity to volunteer at schools and churches with them. Singing and whistling all through life. He will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Christine Bailey; his beloved wife, Rosalinda F. Bailey; his siblings, Thomas "Herbert" Bailey, Martha Adkins, Joe Bailey, Ralph Bailey and George "Sonny" Bailey.
Rest in peace, sir.
