John W. Erickson Jr. "Jack" passed away on January 25, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with his loving wife by his side. He was born on August 24, 1950 in Iowa City, Iowa he is the son of John William and Barbara Ruth Erickson ( Davis). John graduated from North West Classen in 1968. After high school he joined the Untied States Army serving for 6 years during combat time from 1970-1976. John worked after the Army as a machinist making tools for Coors tech. John enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. He loved gun smithing and scrimshaw in his spare time making the most beautiful items. John was published in an article for his scrimshaw work. He traveled with friends to Fort. Washata, Oklahoma for rendezvous.
John leaves behind his loving wife Tonya Casteel Erickson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, mother Barbara Ruth Erickson (Davis) John is the 2nd son. Oldest Steve of Philadelphia, Paul of OKC, Joel and Rona of Tulsa, sister Lael of OKC, sister Andrea (Annie) and husband Steve Johnson of Texas, brother Mahlon and wife Jean of OKC and youngest brother Vincent and wife Mary of Texas. Lots of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. 4 step Children he loved and 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his father John William Erickson Sr.
