Bobby Joe Robertson, 85, of Olmsted, Illinois, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at the Southgate Health Care Center in Metropolis, Illinois.
Bobby Joe was born October 21, 1930, in Perks, Illinois, the son of the late Ernest Robertson and Eva (Eller) Robertson.
Bobby Joe was a retired maintenance employee with the Illinois Department of Transportation. Bobby Joe was a member of the Saddle Club and the Horse Riders Club.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine A. (Simpson) Robertson of Olmsted; 2 sons, Kevin and spouse Charlotte Robertson of Corpus Christ, Texas, and Kenneth and spouse Jackie Robertson of Olmsted; 4 grandchildren, Sidney, Katelyn, Shannon, and Mary Robertson and 2 great grandchildren.
Friends may call Saturday, November 14, 2015, between 10:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home (Villa Ridge) where funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Alan Milligan officiating. Interment will follow in the Masonic Cemetery in Olmsted, Illinois.
