Donna Faye Hayes Willis, 76, of Ironton, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday, April 4th, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family. The Cattlettsburg, Kentucky native was born May 4th, 1944, the daughter of the late George B. Hayes and Faye Daniels Hayes. She is survived by her husband, David Frederick Willis, whom she married on March 23rd, 1963.

　

Mrs. Willis was a graduate of Boyd County High School and was a homemaker. She loved to play the piano and especially loved playing with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Ironton, Ohio.

sons: Rodney Willis of Paris, Texas and Greg (Kristy) Willis of Ironton

grandchildren: Addi Wilson, Austin Willis and Bryce Willis, all of Ironton

brothers: George (Robin) Hayes of Greenup, Kentucky and Charles (Gail) Hayes of Morresville, North Carolina

sister-in-law: Bobbie (Fred) Wells of Ironton

uncle: Ray Daniels of Boyd County, Kentucky

niece: Erica (Michael) Berry

nephew: Christopher Hayes

step-grandchildren: Cory (Emily) Bamer of Willow Wood, Ohio and Courtney (Tyler) Woods of Ironton

and step-great-grandchild: Peyton Woods of Ironton

　

The family would like to specially thank Donna's caretakers, Amy Willis and Brittany McClain, for all of their help and support during this difficult time. Also, a special thank you to Community Hospice Care Staff, Cindy, Lisa, Blake, Georgia, J.D., Stacey, Theresa and Becky for coming into our home and giving such great care to our beloved Donna.

　

Funeral Services will be 12:00 pm Wednesday, April 7th, 2021 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South 7th Street Ironton, Ohio 45638 with Pastor Kenneth Gowin officiating.
