Bob was raised in Dixie and resided most of his adult life in Jonesboro and was of the Baptist belief. He worked for many years for Austin Brothers Construction. Before Bob became disabled, he enjoyed working in the yard, camping at Clear Water Lake and spending time with his family and friends. Bob proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.
In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Betty Douglas; daughter, Gina Andrews; daughter in law, Nikki King; four brothers, Loy Douglas, Chester Douglas, Sylvester Douglas, and Calvin Douglas.
Bob is survived by his son, Bobby Douglas; daughter, Shawna (Cris) Nunez; sister in law, Joy Sartin all of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
Graveside service conducted 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Pine Log Cemetery with Pastor Jimmy Adcox officiating.
