Sutton - Russell R. Erickson, 86, passed peacefully on January 4, 2021 surrounded by family. He was predeceased by his parents, Einar and Marie Erickson.

Russ was a great husband to Frances L. (Listaite) Erickson, loving each other for 58 years. He was the father to daughter Karen Lacasse and husband Rick, son David Erickson and wife Heather, son Joseph Erickson and wife Tami, and grandfather to Elise and Emma Lacasse, Brian Savage, Evan Erickson and Charlotte Erickson.

He is survived by his siblings including sisters Nancy Leclaire and Shirley Courtney and brothers Sonny (Vernon) Erickson, Richard Erickson, and Robert Erickson. Russ also leaves behind several cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Russ served in the United States Army and then worked at Wyman-Gordon for many years as a metallurgist. He was a member of the Worcester Greendale Men's Club. He was a handyman and enjoyed reading, gardening, listening to music, cooking and traveling, especially to Kennebunkport Maine and Cape Cod. He loved coaching and watching his children and grandchildren play sports.
