David Charles Bond Sr., 63 of Eugene, Missouri went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 3, 2021 at his home surround by his loving family.

He was born on September 7, 1957 in Jefferson City, Missouri the son of Charles and Iona (Wibberg) Bond. He graduated from Blair Oaks High School in 1975.

He was united in marriage on June 5, 1982 to Nancy Scott of Eugene, Missouri. They were blessed with four children. David will be lovingly remembered by his children; David Bond Jr. of Jefferson City, Josh and Afton Bond of Jefferson City, Lucas and Joni Bond of Henley, Eliza (Bond) and Jeff Hinkle of Eugene.

He is also survived by his parents and three siblings; Pat Miller (Mike) of Jefferson City, Margie Peters (Mike) of Linn, and Jim Bond (Shay) of Jefferson City. He was proceeded in death by one infant sister Martha Marie.

David retired from Construction Labors Union Local #662. He began working for Miller County on April 18, 1994. After twenty five and half years, the gravel roads of Miller County would never be the same, he retired on September 5, 2019.

You could always find David setting the hook or shooting the buck in the great outdoors. He had a profound knowledge in auto mechanics that many had the chance to learn from. However, the best part of retirement was his twelve grandchildren; Zoey and Charli Bond of Jefferson City, Saylor, Scout, Baya, and Tripp Bond of Jefferson City, Jovi, Hunter, and Lucy Bond of Henley, Clara, Eastyn, and Allie Hinkle of Eugene.

David's unforgettable strength will carry on through his loving family.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon Missouri with Brother Ken Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Garden Cemetery.
