Janice Sue Allen Trimble, 66 years of age, of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life on Saturday, April 3rd, 2021 at her home.
Janice was born in Somerset, Kentucky on August 7th, 1955, son of the late William Allen and Shirley Jean Bullock Allen. She was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed cooking, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and the rest of her family.
Janice was survived by two sons, Charles "Weasel's" (and Melanie) Allen of Burnside, Kentucky and Michael Mounce of Missouri; three daughters, Glenda Rees, Cheryl (and Edward) Clark, and Mary Ann Daulton, all of Somerset, Kentucky; two brothers, Johnny Earl Allen of Somerset, Kentucky and Bill Allen of New Mexico; two sisters, Joann Allen and Frances Richardson, both of Somerset, Kentucky; fifteen grandchildren, Morgan Allen, McKeanzie Allen, Amanda Allen, Vencell May IV, Raychel Raybern, Getty Lee Raybern, Jacob Brewer, William Wayne Adkins II, Roxanne Taylor Rees, Caleb Wayne Mounce, Katie Allison Lynn Wiles, Zachary Scott Godsey, Adrianna Mounce, Jaydon Mounce, and Kaitlyn Mounce; ten great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, William Dennis Allen, who departed this life on March 16th, 2007 and Shirley Jean Allen, who departed this life on December 14th, 2015; her husband, Luther Trimble, who departed this life on August 1st, 2001; two brothers, Kenney Earl Allen, who departed this life on March 6th, 1986 and Jerry Lee Allen, who departed this life on January 26th, 1998; one sister, Wima Jean Allen Wright, who departed this life on November 13th, 2018; and one granddaughter, Samantha Rose Raybern.
A Celebration of Janice's Life gathering was held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 11th, 2021 at her son, Charles "Weasel's" Home.
The Southern Oaks Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky was in charge of the arrangements for Janice.
Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
