Kathryn "Kathi" Sue Carlisle, age 57, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on October 11, 1963 in Seymour, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of Norman Lee and Connie Sue Britton Carlisle. She was raised in the Dupont Community and attended school there. She graduated in 1982 from Madison Consolidated High School and attended beauty college to become a licensed cosmetologist on April 24, 1989. She was united in marriage in July 1983 to Christopher Neil Wright and this union was blessed with a daughter, Brittany Marie. She had worked for Fashion Cleaners and Wolohan Lumber for several years. Kathi was married to Mark Henry in October 1994 and they were blessed with a son, Gunnar Mac. Kathi worked for 14 1/2 years at the Madison State Hospital as a psychiatric attendant, before becoming disabled. She loved shopping, reading, crafting, sewing and making trips to Tennessee. She had attended North Madison Christian Church earlier in life. She was a devoted mother, loving daughter, grandma and sister. Kathi died on Sunday, April 4, 2021, at 5:20 a.m. at the Norton Hosparus Inpatient Unit in Louisville, Kentucky.

Kathi will be missed by her loving daughter, Brittany Marie Wright Martin and her husband, John of Hanover, Indiana; her loving son, Gunnar Mac Henry and his wife, Brooklynn of Madison, Indiana; her loving dad, Lee Carlisle of Dupont, Indiana; her loving sisters, Toni Lea Martin and her husband, David of Greenwood, Indiana, Taffeney Ranee "Bumper" Pilman and her husband, Jerry of Huntsville, Alabama; her adoring grandchildren, Delaney Ems and Heath Martin; her uncle, Gerald D. "Jerry" Carlisle of Commiskey, Indiana; her aunt, Kay and Joe Yager of Madison, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Connie Sue Britton Carlisle, died March 10, 2012, her grandson, Bowen Mac Henry, died January 8, 2018, her paternal grandparents, Gerald "Buddy" Carlisle, died February 27, 2003 and Lavelle Rowlett Carlisle, died December 18, 2012, her maternal grandparents, John T. Britton, died June 20, 1981 and Marie Donnel Britton, died January 29, 1983; her uncle and her aunt, Doyle Ehlers died, January 29, 2016 and Saundra Ehlers, died July 13, 2011.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 9, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., by Pastor Shane Brunner at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Dupont Cemetery in Dupont, Indiana.
VISITATION
Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
