She was born on February 20, 1954 in Lubbock, Texas to Martin and Florinda Mendoza. She attended school in the Vallivue district. She fell in love and later married Enrique Martin. They were married for 46 Years, until the love of her life passed away on their anniversary morning. During the marriage they lived life to the fullest. They never over planned. If the urge hit them to go visit Texas, Oregon, or Mexico, they would fill the tank of gas and off they went. As a Pastor's/Minister's wife she was always prepared to welcome the guests that could arrive at 6 in the morning or at midnight for a prayer and good conversation. She had a heart of gold. She believed in everyone. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. Fishing and camping were her favorite activities. She also enjoyed reading the scripture while listening to her worship music.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Enrique A. Martin, her parents, Martin and Florinda Mendoza and her siblings, Betty, Mary, Candelaria, Yolanda, Lydia, Martina.
She is survived by her children,: Yesenia Jellouli, Enrique Martin Jr., Veronica Lacasse, Angelica Martin; her Grandchildren; Vanessa J. Etherton, DeLeighla B. Jellouli, Nadia S. Jellouli, Rasheed M. Jellouli. Michael R. LaCasse, Anthony M. LaCasse, Tiana Dovel, Malachi T. Martin, Enrique Martin III, Isaac Martin, Christopher Martin, and Elijah Martin and one great grandchild, Enrique N. Martin IV.
