Josephine Norris, 95 of La Crosse died Thursday February 4, 2021 at Bethany Riverside Healthcare Center.

She was born April 20,1925 in Dell, WI to Oscar and Fern (Miller) Clark. Jo was a graduate of Westby High School.

On Sept 6, 1952 she married James Norris in La Crosse, WI.

Jo worked at the Rubber Mills in her early years and later as a seamstress for Roth's Flor-Mart and Herbergers making custom draperies until her retirement.

In her spare time she especially loved gardening and always had beautiful flowers and vegetables. She was a terrific cook and made the best banana cream pie! She also was a member of an all women singing group, Riverside Ramblers and had many happy times with them singing around the area and enjoying their companionship.

Survivors include her daughter Jeanne, grandchildren Nicole and Alex, great grandchild Charlie, step-daughter Vickie and step-grandchildren Trulee, Gus and Doug, also great step-grandchild Simone.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents, husband James, four brothers; John, Alvin, Burl and Phillip, three sisters; Glida, Bonnie and Anne,
she is also survived by dear friend Ruthie.

Burial will be at a later date at Mormon Coulee Memorial Park Cemetery, La Crosse.
