Helen Gromovsky Hicks, 85, of Ashland, VA, died Saturday, April 3, 2021 surrounded by her family. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Virgil S. Hicks, Jr. She is survived by her children; Anthony Hicks (Susan), Kaki Upshaw (Tracy), Mike Hicks, Mary Ann Capone (Dan), Lanky Hicks, Toki Mustian (Bill), BB Hicks, Virgil Hicks III (Jennifer). Her many grandchildren; Meagan Rodzen (Chris), Stephanie Broaddus (Bates), Ned Upshaw (Natalie), Charlie Upshaw, Jamie Hutchison (Daniel), Matthew Capone (Tiffany), Taylor Mustian, Brittney Mustian, Melissa Hicks, Watson Hicks. And her great grandchildren; Jacob, Johnny, Julianne, Silas, Reese, Addie, Samuel, Everett, Camryn. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Virgil S.
