Archie Samuel White born May 13, 1933 in Edna, Texas.

Archie passed away March 29, 2021 in Lumberton, Texas.

He graduated from Edna High School in Edna, Texas. He received a Bachelor Degree from the University of Houston, worked for Caterpillar Industries and eventually owned and operated his own Caterpillar dealership. Later in life he started a career as a high school teacher at Silsbee High School and Lumberton High School. Archie was a member of First Baptist Church in Lumberton, loved to dance, play golf, scuba dive, snow and water ski, pilot small planes, collect guns and knives. He will always be remembered as the most caring, fun loving, and kind hearted man.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Everard Davenport White and Myrtle Felts-White; wife, Imogene White; and his son, Sammy White.

Archie is survived by his children, John White, Sharon White, Kirby White all of Houston, Texas; Pansy Wright Dear and her husband Doby of Lumberton, Texas; his grandson, W.T. Wright; his wife, Didi of Spring, Texas; his great grandchildren, Will and Aubrey; his sister, Dixie Hill; along with numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

He will be missed by all who love him but his legacy will continue -Dance On
