She was born in Robeson County on October 6, 1941.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Carson Jimmy Hunt; her parents, James P. Fields and Bessie Emanuel Fields; and a sister, Oner Fields Brewington.
She was survived by three sons: Anthony (Mona Lisa) Hunt of Pembroke, Wade (Kathyrn) Hunt of Annandale, VA, and James (Melissa) Hunt of Lumberton; two brothers, Homer Fields of Lumberton and Sankey (Cecil) Fields of Southport; one sister, Athelia (Milton) Locklear of Lumberton; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two honorary children, Larry Chavis and Myra Graham; and a host of family and friends.
The funeral services will be held in Smyrna Baptist Church, 8003 Hwy 211 East, Lumberton, NC 28358. The burial services will be held at Robeson Memorial Park, NC Hwy 211 East, Lumberton, NC 28358.
