Brent Nelson Hall, 26, passed away on Saturday evening, April 3, 2021, just ten days shy of his 27th birthday.

Brent was born on April 13, 1994 in Sampson County and grew up in Clinton, graduating from Clinton High School and was a football player (#66) and continued to be a diehard "Dark Horse" fan. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and continued helping his beloved Dark Horse football team over the years. He made many friends over the years - in school, through sports and at his jobs. He never met a stranger and his smile would light up a room. Brent was the type of guy that once you talked to him for just a few minutes, you were drawn to him and were his friend for life. He loved his family more than anything, especially his niece, Chloe, who was the apple of his eye. He loved to serve others, had a tender heart and loved anything dealing with the youth and had a soft spot for animals. He worked with NAPA of Clinton, and was also a Newton Grove Police Officer, starting that career in 2015. He was well liked in the community where he served and loved his brothers and sisters in blue. Brent will live on through so many who loved him – he will never be forgotten, because a love like his won't ever leave us.

Brent is survived by his parents: his Dad, Mark Hall (Joan Carr) of Clinton; mother, Theresa Goordman (Anthony) of Dublin; his sister, Amanda Brewington (Frankie) of Clinton; niece, Chloe Brewington; best friend and special "brother", Jason Brewer; maternal grandparents: Garry and Julia Freeman of Dublin and several loving aunts, uncles and cousins who will all miss him terribly.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ronnie Hall and Carolyn Patricia Thornton.
