DAVID A. ABBOTT, age 64, of Bradford, OH passed away at 12:06 PM on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Kettering Health Network Piqua.
David was born August 15, 1956 in Piqua, OH to the late Raymond and Norma (Wooley) Abbott.
He married Veronica Abbott on July 14, 1978 in Piqua, OH and she preceded him death on September 16, 2004.
He is survived by one son: Daniel (Angie Delk) Abbott, Greenville; two daughters: Jennifer (Danny) Persinger, Greenville and Jessica (Sam) Jones, Little River, SC; one brother: Brian (Cathy) Abbott, Piqua; three sisters: Kay Hogh, Sidney; Cheryl Ball, Piqua; and Debra Abbott, Greenville; five grandchildren: Shawn (Alica) Wright, Naomi Pieper, Jaxon Jones, Taylor Delk, and Tyler Delk; and one great-grandson: Emmett Wright.
David was self-employed in the construction business.
He proudly served his country in the United States Marines from January 21, 1974 to September 13, 1979.
A celebration of David's life will be held at the convenience of the family. Mr. Abbott's services are in care of Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of Miami Valley Hospital for the care and love they gave David throughout his illness.
