Jane L. Mitchell Lorah, 66, of Shillington, passed away on Friday, April 2nd, 2021, in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Earl Lorah and J. Audrey Lorah (Yoder). She was a graduate of Mt. Penn High School class of 1973, and then she went on to attend St. Joesph's Nursing School. Jane loved cooking, attending services at Grace Church, and reading faith-based books. Jane was a writer herself and recently published Past Herman's Garage. She worked as a certified nursing assistant in home health care for many years, and also worked as a bank teller for several different banks.

Jane is survived by her son Curtis Mitchell, partner of Megan Barkhurst, of Virginia Beach, VA; sisters Earlene, Robin and brother Daniel husband of Stacey; her grandchildren Jeffrey and Erika Mitchell, three nieces and five nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 11:00 am in Spies Zion Cemetery 318 Spies Church Rd. Reading, PA 19606.
