Deacon Harry "Bud" Edward Wagner Jr., 90, of Sulphur passed away on April 2, 2021.
Deacon Bud was born on July 8, 1930 to Harry and Marie Wagner in Haddonfield, NJ. Bud enjoyed faithfully serving the Catholic Church as a deacon as a lifelong career.
Those left to cherish his memory are his caregiver, Rodney Gonzales; cousins, Connie Ellender, Rory Ellender and Jayme Ellender.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Wagner; one sister, Joan Wagner; and parents, Harry Edward.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur, LA. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur, LA. Burial will be at Bethany Cemetery at the St. Charles Center under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Monsignor Vincent Sedita, Fr. Tim Goodly and Fr. Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate services.
The family respectfully asks that visitors wear masks and practice social distancing, adhering to local regulations regarding COVID-19.
