Gale Ralph Wilson Athens Gale Ralph Wilson of Athens passed away May 28, 2012. Rest In Peace, Dad. You will be forever missed. Gale was born December 01, 1921 to Ralph and Leona Wilson, one of 12 children. Gale spent his lifetime building fire trucks at the American Fire Apparatus in Battle Creek and the Wolverine Fire Apparatus in Union City, until retiring at the age of 82. Gale was also a well known mechanic in Athens, working part time at various service stations. Gale enjoyed gardening, yard work, watching baseball and football on TV and his dog, Poochie. Gale is survived by wife, Dawn of Athens; sons, Randall and Dean Wilson; daughters, Valerie Frisosky and Darlene (Dee) Knight; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers, Norris, Chuck, Glen, Dewey and Tom; and sisters, Linda and Mary. Gale was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Lawrence; his first wife, Donna; brothers, Gerald, Wesley and Ralph; and one sister, Carol.
