November 18, 1955 ~ March 28, 2021 (age 65)
Celebration of life for Janet Abigail Pennington will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo, OK.
Graveside services will be Thursday, April 8, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. in Pleasant Grove in Cove, Arkansas. Janet went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2021, in Hugo, OK at the age of 65.
Janet Abigail Pennington was born on November 18, 1955, in Hot Springs, Arkansas the daughter of Fred Stockton and Marian Aileene Stockton Clifton.
She married Paul Pennington on January 18, 1974, in Commerce, Texas. Janet was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Hugo, OK for over 30 years. She was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church in Hugo, OK.
She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her plants, crafts and drawing. She loved taking care of her grandchildren and was well-loved by many.
Janet is preceded in death by her father, Fred Stockton; son, Russell Paul Pennington.
Janet is survived by her husband Paul Pennington of Hugo, OK; her mother Marian Aileene Clifton, Randall Pennington and wife Delicia of Little Elm, TX and Joshua Lee Pennington of Tulsa, OK; daughters, Amanda Joyce Pennington of Hugo, OK, and Ayla Joyce Pennington and husband Dakota Branton of Hugo, OK; five grandsons and one granddaughter..
